Iran film to vie in Russia

Iranian movie 'Ferrari' is scheduled to be screened at the Detective FEST in Moscow.

Directed by Alireza Davoudnejad, the movie will compete at the Feature Films category of International Festival of Detective Films and Television Programs.

‘Ferrari’ has won a Crystal Simorgh of Special Jury Prize as well as titles for Best Leading Actor, Best Screenplay and Best Sound Recording at the 35th edition of Fajr Film Festival.

“Nader, who finds out about Golnar’s goals, tries to make her return to the real life but he faces challenges,” a short synopsis of the flick read.

Mohsen Tanabandeh, Tarlan Parvaneh, Siamak Safari, Mohammadreza Davoudnejad, Sima Tirandaz, Reza Davoudnejad, Sajjad Sepehri and Mitra Tabrizi star in the movie.

Founded in 1999, Moscow International Festival of Detective Films deals with works that showcase War and peace, terrorism, and the effect of war on environment.

The 20th edition of the event is slated for April 23rd-27th, 2018.
